NOTE
•    W hen you assign "Memory Tx" to the soft keys (page 8-50), you can switch ON/OFF 
of memory transmission through one-touch.
•    A fter the transmission ends or when you press <Reset>, the machine returns to the 
default of memory transmission. Memory transmission is set to ON at the time of 
shipment. To change the default to OFF, refer to "Transmission Default Settings" 
(page 8-15).

Quick memory transmission

When you transmit multiple documents using the ADF, transmission starts in 
the order of the pages that can be stored in the memory. This greatly reduces the 
total working time when sending a large amount of documents.
NOTE
Quick memory transmission is set to ON at the time of shipment. To change the 
default to OFF, refer to "Other Settings" (page 8-17).

Dialing symbols

To insert the pause or switch the tone signal when dialing, enter the dialing 
symbols.

Make the entered dialing number easy to see.

Enter the pause symbol when you need to, for example, when 
you dial overseas or dial from an extension to an external 
line. You can enter the pause to last for about 2 seconds per 
one symbol. To lengthen the pause, enter more than one 
symbol. You can also change the pause time per symbol. For 
details on changing, refer to "Other Settings" (page 8-17) in 
the fax-related settings.

You can enter this symbol at the top of the dialing number 
to add the registered prefix number. For the details on 
registering the prefix, refer to "Dial Prefix" (page 4-8).
