Loading envelopes in the bypass tray

Open the bypass tray.

Set the paper size dial to "Others".
Align the dial groove to the one on the bypass tray.

S lide the paper guide to the desired envelope size, and load the
envelope straight with the side to be printed on downward.
IMPORTANT
• F old the flap of the envelope. Do not use envelopes that come with glue as a sealant.
• When the envelope is a type where the flap does not run length-wise but runs
across one of the shorter ends, be sure to load it into the bypass tray from the side
including the flap. Otherwise, a paper jam may occur.
