Hop Lmt
Enter the number of hops for each preference. A hop is when a call tandems through a media
server or switch to another destination. Limiting the number of hops prevents circular hunting,
which ties up trunk facilities without ever completing the call. Avaya Communication Manager
blocks a hop equal to or greater than the number you enter
