Teach Tab - Paths Tab
Use the Paths tab (see
instrument selected in the Names tab.
Paths Drop-Down List - Displays the paths for the instrument
selected in the Names tab. The positions in the selected path are
displayed in the Positions list. The Teach Wizard creates Approach
and Clear paths, which do not include instrument positions. For
more information on paths and positions, see
Terminology" on page
New Path Button - Opens the New Path window (see
Delete Path Button - Deletes the path selected in the Paths list.
Execute Path Button - Executes the path selected in the Paths
list. The robot moves to the positions in numeric order.
WARNING
The Execute button moves the robot from its current position
directly to the first position in the Path Position list in one direct
motion. Make sure there is a clear path to the first position before
clicking the Execute button to prevent a robot crash or spilling of
material contents.
Path Positions List - Displays the positions in the path selected in
the Paths drop-down list. The Teach Wizard creates an Approach
path and Clear path for an instrument if you teach Clear positions
when the wizard asks if the arm is clear to move all the way up
vertically.
