B-Channel Loopback Test

This test verifies that specific communication paths on the MLX or 800 NI-BRI modules are
operational. If you have not read

This test can be run only on MLX or 800 NI-BRI modules.
In the procedure above, when you select Enter , the following additional
options appear, depending on the module:
For all MLX modules,

Interrupt the test by selecting Back .
If the test fails, record the errors on the repair tag and replace the module.
Lines 3 and 4 of the test failure results identify the cause of the failure or
the number of errors found per B-channel. On an MLX module, there are
16 B-channels, numbered 0 through 15. Line 3 displays the results for
B-channels 0 through 7; Line 4 is for B-channels 8 through 15.
Restore the module if it successfully completes all module tests and the
errors no longer occur. See
