Introduction
Notes:
1) "Earlier" and "Later" units differ as follows:
• "Earlier Units" operate using Firmware FW/12050 (Version 1.1.3
or earlier). "Later Units" operate using Firmware FW/12437
(Version 2.1.1 or later).
• "Earlier Units"are "Tx only" (modulator only) and are not
upgradeable to 16APSK or higher.
• "Earlier Units" do not support redundancy and are not
upgradeable.
2) CDI-40 ASI Data Interface Modules PL/10881-3 (for "Earlier Units") and
PL/10881-4 (for "Later Units") have hardware differences that can not be
upgraded through the Firmware Update process (e.g., CReflash). See
para. 1.2.3 for 1:1 and 1:N application information.
3) The CDI-60 HSSI Data Interface Module PL/11582-1 requires Firmware
Version 3.0.1 or later. Generic operation requires Firmware Version 4.1.1
or later.
4) The CDI-70 GBEI Data Interface Module PL/11509-1 can be upgraded to
PL/11509-2 function using the Firmware Update process (e.g., CReflash).
