Terrestrial jitter sometimes increases when data is sent across the Public
Switched Telecom Network (PSTN). Wide corresponds to about 2 Hz and
Narrow is approximately 0.5 Hz. Normally, the Wide selection is
adequate, but when higher amounts of terrestrial jitter are present in the
incoming ASI data stream the Narrow setting will help reduce jitter.
