- When the header of the MAC or IP is one of the following values.
The Source MAC Address is FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF, the Source MAC Address is
multicast address format, checksum error, length error, TTL is 0, or the Source or the
Destination IP address are all 0, etc.
- When a frame does not match the entry in the IP multicast table
- When an internal control frame cannot be transmitted from an internal connection
port to an external connection port
- When erroneous frames in an input port were undetected, and some of the frames
among the frames that were flooded are discarded without being output
