(Flexible Flat Cable), or control board is
damaged.
Switch the printer off.
Open the top cover.

encoder. If disconnected, go to (6). If not
disconnected, go to (4).
Move the carriage by hand and remove any
foreign objects, paper scraps, etc. If you see no
foreign objects, go to (5).
Switch the printer on, and if the NRC code
appears again, go to Repair.
