Configuring DHCP Packet Rate Limit
Follow these steps to configure rate limit of DHCP packets:

Enter system view
Enter port view
Enable the DHCP packet rate
limit function
Configure the maximum DHCP
packet rate allowed on the port
Enable the port state
auto-recovery function
Set the port state
auto-recovery interval
Enable the port state auto-recovery function before setting the auto-recovery interval.
You are not recommended to configure DHCP packet rate limit on the ports of an aggregation
group.
Rate Limit Configuration Example
Network requirements
As shown in
Figure
Ethernet1/0/2 is connected to client B and Ethernet1/0/11 is connected to client A.
Enable DHCP snooping on the switch, and specify Ethernet1/0/1 as the DHCP snooping trusted
port.
Configure DHCP packet rate limit on Ethernet1/0/11 and set the maximum DHCP packet rate
allowed on the port to 100 pps.
Set the port state auto-recovery interval to 30 seconds on the switch.
