Is plug-socket correct?
Is the Weekly timer indicator
lighted?
Is the Front door completely
closed?
Is the Tray inserted appropriate
for the original size?
Is the print quantity setting "0"?.
Is the Left partition glass,
Platen glass or RADF platen
guide cover clean?
Is the original clean?
Is density adjustment correct?

message displayed?
Is copy paper damp?
Is the "Call for PM" message

Is Repeat, Image Shift, Reduce
& Shift or Dual Page mode
established?
Can you find paper jam
occurring also at any other

Is ADU completely returned?
Is RADF fully closed?
5. Simple Problems
Remedy
• Connect correctly to power
source.
• Weekly timer function is ON.
Use the forcible ON facility , or
Contact your key operator.
• Close the Front door
completely.
• Load appropriate size paper into
Tray.
• Set required number of copies.
• Clean.
• Remove marks.
• Adjust density by using manual
mode or Density shift. (See pp.
6-24~6-27.)
If further adjustment required,
contact your service centre.
• Adjust density by using manual
mode or Density shift. (See pp.
6-24~6-27.)
If further adjustment required,
contact your service centre.
• Add toner.
• Replace copy paper.
• Call your service centre.
• Cancel Repeat, the Image Shift,
Reduce & Shift or Dual Page
mode.
• Confirm on LCD whether paper
jam occurs also at any other
location. Dispose of any other
jam you find.
• Return the ADU completely.
• Fully close the RADF.
