FASTKCON files cannot be redirected; only a single FASTKCON file is used by a
FASTP network print process.
FASTKCON File Security
Like FASTCNFG files, a FASTKCON file usually contains information that should not
be accessible to all users (for example, passwords). The file can be secured by using
one or both of the following mechanisms:
FUP SECURE and FUP GIVE commands
Safeguard protection
For more information about file security, refer to the following manuals:
File Utility Program (FUP) Reference Manual
Safeguard Administrators Manual
Note that the file must be secured for read access by all of applicable the FASTPTCP
network print processes.
