End Session
Error occurred while closing a session with the remote SMB client.
Establish Session
Error occurred during initial contact with the remote SMB client.
Close Print
Error occurred while closing a print job to the remote SMB client.
OPEN LANSPOOLFILE
Error occurred while starting a new print job to the remote SMB client.
WRITE LANSPOOLFILE
Error occurred while writing print job data to the remote SMB client
file-err
is the file-system error returned from the OPEN or WRITEREAD to the WSPTP
API (TLAM, NBT, or NBX). See the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages
Manual for explanations of file-system errors.
ncb-retcode
is a NetBIOS return code from the NCB returned by WSPTP.
smb-class
is the SMB class code returned from the remote SMB client.
smb-status
is the SMB status code returned from the remote SMB client.
ncb-name
is the NetBIOS name from the NCB.
Cause. An error occurred while establishing an SMB session with the remote SMB
client.
Effect. The effect depends on the type and severity of the error encountered.
Recovery. Determine the error recovery from the appropriate documentation as
follows:
File-system errors: Refer to the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual for
explanations of file-system errors.
NetBIOS errors: Refer to the Multilan/TLAM Programming Manual (D-series only), your
LAN vendor documentation, or other NetBIOS documentation.
