SETMODE 260

SETMODE 260 enables PostScript printing and has the following syntax:
SETMODE operation param1 param2
where param1 dictates the language and param2 is ignored.
param1 values that have special meanings for LPD devices:

FASTPTCP emits the o - Print PostScript
output file command.
FASTPTCP emits the o - Print PostScript
output file command and in addition takes steps to
ensure that only valid PostScript data is sent to the
printer.
FASTPTCP emits the c - Plot CIF file command.
FASTPTCP emits the d - Print DVI file command.
FASTPTCP emits the f - Print formatted file
command.

FASTPTCP emits the l - Print file leaving
control characters command.

FASTPTCP treats the data as PostScript but emits the f

used for certain LPDs that do not recognize the o - Print
PostScript output file command but can cope with
receiving PostScript data.
