operation
identifies the operation during which the error occurred and is one of the following
values:
CREATE
I/O
OPEN
PURGE
file-err
is a file-system error code. See the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages
Manual for explanations of file-system errors.
ext
is the initial number of file extents.
max
is the maximum number of file extents.
Cause. This message applies to FASTPTCP only. FASTPTCP uses a temporary file to
stage print job data with PROTOCOL = LPD. A file-system error was detected when
using this file.
Effect. The Spooler job is terminated and requeued, and the Spooler device is placed
offline.
Recovery. Purge the file specified for the TEMPFILE parameter for the device. If
TEMPFILE specifies a complete file name, either use a unique file name for each
device, change TEMPFILE to specify only a disk volume name, or completely omit the
TEMPFILE parameter. Verify that Safeguard permits access to the specified
TEMPFILE.
