EMS Messages
Cause. This message applies to FASTPXNS only. FASTPXNS attempted and failed to
respond to a retransmit request from the specified device. This error indicates a fatal
error occurred during the data transfer of the print job.
Effect. The device is placed offline.
Recovery. If the error persists, contact your service provider as described in
Troubleshooting and Reporting Problems

is the process number (CPU, PIN) of the process.
device-name
is the Spooler device name.
file-err
is the file-system error. See the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages Manual
for explanations of file-system errors.
Cause. This message applies to FASTPXNS only. FASTPXNS encountered a
Guardian error when posting a READX call on the X25AM port.
Effect. FASTPXNS abends.
