EMS Messages
Cause. A file-system error occurred on a read of the specified FASTCNFG or
FASTKCON file.
Effect. No printing occurs, the Spooler job is requeued, and the Spooler device is
placed offline.
Recovery. Verify that the FASTCNFG or FASTKCON file exists and has correct
information. If the error persists, contact your service provider as described in
Troubleshooting and Reporting Problems

proc-name POLLTYPE: rec-name syntax error error pollparm in
FASTKCON file-name
proc-name
is the process name of the FASTPTCP process.
rec-name
is the POLLTYPE record name.
error
is a brief description of the error.
pollparm
is the POLLTYPE parameter where the error was detected.
file-name
is the name of the FASTKCON file.
Cause. The FASTKCON file contains PROTOCOL=HPJETDIRECT and
POLLTYPENAME references. POLLTYPENAME is used to refer to a POLLTYPE
record in FASTKCON, but the POLLTYPE record contains an error.
Effect. The print job is requeued.
Recovery. Correct the error in FASTCNFG, and then use FASTKCUT to update
FASTKCON.
