proc-name
is the process name of the FASTPTCP process.
device-name
is the Spooler device name.
temp-name
is the name of the temporary disk file, either from the FASTCNFG parameter
TEMPFILE or a default name.
file-err
is a file-system error code. See the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages
Manual for explanations of file-system errors.
ext
is the initial number of file extents.
max
is the maximum number of file extents.
Cause. The FASTPTCP process uses a temporary file to stage print job data with
PROTOCOL=LPD. A file-system error was detected when using this file during a
CREATE operation.
Effect. The Spooler job is terminated and requeued, and the Spooler device is placed
offline.
Recovery. Purge the file specified for the TEMPFILE parameter for the device. If
TEMPFILE specifies a complete file name, either use a unique file name for each
device, change TEMPFILE to specify only a disk volume name, or completely omit the
TEMPFILE parameter. Verify that Safeguard permits access to the specified
TEMPFILE.
