EMS Messages
Recovery. For temporary errors, no other FASTPTCP errors are displayed and
recovery by the Spooler is automatic. For persistent errors, one or more additional
FASTPTCP errors are displayed which describe the error. Follow the recovery
instructions provided for these additional errors.

proc-name
is the process name of the FASTPTCP process.
device-name
is the Spooler device name.
job-num
is the job number.
Cause. The FASTPTCP process resumed printing a job. This message is generated
only when bit 14 (%2) of PRINT PARM is set and is displayed only in EMS event
format.
Effect. None; this message is an informational message only.
Recovery. Informational message only; no corrective action is needed.

is the process name of the FASTPTCP process.
device-name
is the Spooler device name.
hex-data
is a hexadecimal display of some of the data received from the printer.
Cause. The FASTPTCP process has been configured with PROTOCOL=TCP/IP-
TELNET and NOTIMINGMARK=NO and expects a certain response from the remote
TELNET server (AWAN, terminal server, or other device) at the end of the print job.
Data was received other than a normal Do Timing Mark response. One common cause
is a printer that is sending XON or XOFF characters when the AWAN or terminal server
