proc-name DEV: device-name Job #job-num error type err-type

proc-name
is the process name of the FASTPTCP process.
device-name
is the Spooler device name.
job-num
is the job number
err-type
identifies the type of error that occurred. The possible values are:
1
an error occurred during printing, and the previous operation to the device also
caused an error.
2
an error occurred during the device open.
3
An error occurred during printing, and the previous operation to the device was
successful.
file-err
is a file-system error code. See the Guardian Procedure Errors and Messages
Manual for explanations of file-system errors.
byte-count
is the approximate number of bytes sent to the device before the error occurred.
This count includes any formatting characters, such as carriage returns and line
feeds, added by the FASTPTCP process.
Cause. The FASTPTCP process encountered a temporary or persistent error while
printing. This event is generated only when bit 14 (%2) of PRINT PARM is set, and is
displayed only in EMS event format.
Effect. None; this message is an informational message only.
