The YKEWAIT or YKWATCH command enables you to monitor a copy group status by copy pair

Status Monitoring by Copy Pair
The YKEWAIT command can be used to monitor copy group statuses. When this command is
executed, processing halts until the status of all copy pairs in the copy group matches that specified
by the GOTO parameter.
The YKEWAIT command can also be executed with the GOTO(DUPLEX) parameter specified for
a copy group container with a EXCTG ID specified, so that all journal groups within the copy group
container are monitored until they are registered with EXCTG.
