Specify a blank value for the arbitration command device corresponding to the supervisor
storage system.
When you use only a supervisor storage system, or when you register one primary storage
system, one secondary storage system, and multiple journal groups to an EXCTG, specify a
blank value for the arbitration command device. If you do so, the arbitration command device
is assumed to be FFFF.
NOTE:
If you specify a value other than a blank space for the arbitration command device in
relation to the supervisor storage system, a pop-up panel appears, informing you that the entered
value will be saved as a space in the configuration file.

Saving settings

To save the settings:
1.
Once all copy groups are registered, press the F3=Exit key.
Press the F3=Exit key from the Copy Group Pair Detail panel for a copy group that is not a
copy group container, or from the Copy Group Detail Definition panel for a copy group that
is a copy group container.
A pop-up panel is displayed to confirm that you want to save the settings to the configuration
file.
2.
Press the Enter key.
The settings are saved to the configuration file and copy group creation is completed.

Defining an Open/MF consistency group

To use the Open/MF Consistency Preservation Function, set the Open/MF Consistency attribute
for a CA consistency group. To define a new copy group, in the Copy Group Attributes panel,
specify Y for OPEN/MF. To set the Open/MF Consistency attribute for an existing copy group,
you need to suspend the copy group, change the definition (attribute settings) of the copy group,
