The error is logged in the copy policy section. In our example, the copy has failed because the target
tape drive was offline.
There are a number of reasons why copy job may fail.
• The copy job is open by another user, thus locking it, and preventing the backup job from
acquiring an exclusive lock on the job.
• The user lacks the appropriate permissions to the folder where the copy job resides, or the copy
job itself (rare).
• The copy job is running (this can happen, if multiple devices are selected for backup and copy).

as frequently as every minute. For ease of use and maximum data security, use one of the default job
schedules. You can also create a customized schedule to meet your business needs for data retention.
You use the Schedule property page of a job to set the job's schedule.
