From the remote host, register the command device for each of the storage systems on the

remote, primary, and local sites. This operation is not necessary when Business Continuity

Manager is not started on the remote site.

Creating a Copy Group (Delta Resync Configuration)

Create a copy group on the primary host.

To create a copy group:

On the primary host, define a Cnt Ac-S Z copy group between the primary site and the local

site, and a Cnt Ac-J Z copy group between the primary site and the remote site.

At the primary site, define a Cnt Ac-J Z copy group for the delta resync function.

For the sub consistency group ID (sub C/T ID(JNLG)) (the sub-consistency group ID for the

journal group), specify the same journal group number that was used for the S-VOL of the Cnt

Ac-J Z copy group, and for the mirror ID (MIRROR ID), specify a mirror ID other than the one

that was used for the Cnt Ac-J Z copy group.
