Disk configuration definition files are
required on the primary site and
secondary site.
The timer type of the Cnt Ac-J Z
copy group is SYSTEM.
A C/T group ID must be specified
for an BC Z copy group.
Up to three BC Z copy groups with
a C/T group ID specified can be
defined for a single Cnt Ac-J Z
journal group.
All BC Z copy pairs having the
same C/T group ID must be linked
to the same Cnt Ac-J Z journal
group.
Forward and reverse direction routes
A path set is required for inter-DKC
logical paths.

Set this item before starting a copy
operation.
The maximum number of Cnt Ac-J Z
and BC Z copy pairs depends on
the storage systems.
If the maximum number of storage
system copy pairs will be exceeded
or multiple storage system copy
groups will be operated, define a
copy group container.
A 4x4 configuration cannot be
defined.
A delta resync configuration cannot
be defined.
A maximum of three BC Z copy
groups with a C/T group ID
specified can be linked to a single
Cnt Ac-J Z journal group. For
example, in
Figure 93 (page
the bottom Cnt Ac-J Z copy pair
cannot have a second–generation
backup.
Set this item before starting a copy
operation.
The forward route is required when you
operate the secondary site storage
systems from the primary site by using
the Remote DKC Control Function. The
reverse route is required when you
operate the primary site storage systems
from the secondary site by using the
Remote DKC Control Function.
