Execute the YKRESYNC PREPARE command for the delta resync pair.

YKEWAIT GOTO(HOLD) NOINVALIDCHK
If the command is successful, the delta resync pair between the local and remote sites first
changes to the HOLDTRNS status, and then the HOLD status. After changing to the HOLD
status, the copy pair is ready for delta resync.
If the pair stays in the HOLDTRNS status and does not change to the HOLD status, execute
the procedure in
Not Change to HOLD Status" (page

If Pair Status Changes to NODELTA

If a copy pair changed to NODELTA status after performing delta resync, delta resync could not
be performed because there is an anomaly in the differential update between the local site and
the remote site.
To create a Cnt Ac-J Z copy pair between the local site and the remote site, execute delta resync
with full copy (YKRESYNC ALLJNL command) specified to issue a full copy of the volumes in the
local site to the remote site. The following explains the procedure for performing a full copy.
Performing this action copies all data in the local site to the remote site.

ALLJNL ERRCHK command for the delta resync pair.
