Maximal block size of a log is 64,000 bytes.
Since the maximum CTF is 60 KB (61,440 bytes), specify 64,000 bytes as the
block size for extra capacity.
STG_SIZE(stg_size)
Specify 100 to 1,000 (400 KB to 4 MB) as the size of the staging dataset.
Do not specify this parameter when using an SMS definition.
STG_DATACLAS(stg_dataclas)
Specify this parameter when using an SMS definition. Specify the name of the SMS
data class used for allocation of the DASD staging dataset for a log stream.
STG_MGMTCLAS(stg_mgmtclas)
Specify this parameter when using an SMS definition. Specify the name of the SMS
management class used for allocation of the DASD staging dataset for a log stream.
STG_STORCLAS(stg_storclas)
Specify this parameter when using an SMS definition. Specify the name of the SMS
storage class used for allocation of the DASD staging dataset for a log stream.
LS_SIZE(ls_size)
The specification of the DASD log dataset size is optional.
This size depends on the output frequency of the output of Business Continuity
Manager log data to an external dataset and how Business Continuity Manager
log data deletion is performed. Special attention should be taken when specifying
the size.
Do not specify this parameter when using an SMS definition.

Specify this to automatically delete a Business Continuity Manager log data.
RETPD(retpd)
Specify this to automatically delete a Business Continuity Manager log data. Specify
the number of days that the Business Continuity Manager log data in the log stream
is saved.
