This chapter provides instructions for preventive maintenance of the disk array.
Tools Required
No tools are required for preventive maintenance of the disk array.
Required Preventive Maintenance
Airways
Monthly, or more frequently if operating in a dusty environment, clean any dust accumulation from the
front door and module grills. Clean any dust accumulation from the rear power module fan grill.
Controller Batteries
Controller batteries should be replaced every three years, or sooner if the display module indicates. See
Replacing Controller Batteries.
