3. Pull the CD-ROM drive out of the node.

To replace the component:
1. Carefully align the connector on the rear of the drive with the connector on the CD-ROM/diskette
drive interface board.
2. Slide the drive into the bay until it clicks.

Power Supply

CAUTION:
To prevent improper cooling and thermal damage, do not operate the node unless all bays are
populated with either a component or a blank.
1. Disconnect the power cord from the power supply.
2. Press the power supply release lever, and then pull the power supply from the node.

To replace the component:
WARNING!
To reduce the risk of electric shock or damage to the equipment, do not connect the power cord to
the power supply until the power supply is installed.
