Node LEDs and Internal Health LED Combinations
When the internal health LED on the front panel of the node illuminates either amber or red, the node
is experiencing a health event. Combinations of illuminated system board LEDs and the internal health
LED indicate node status.

One or more of the following conditions may exist:
•
Processor in socket X has failed.
•
Processor in socket X failed over to the offline spare.
Red
•
Processor X is not installed in the socket.
•
Processor X is unsupported.
•
ROM detects a failed processor during POST.
Amber
Processor in socket X is in a pre-failure condition.
Red
Processor types are mismatched.
Red
PPM has failed.
•
DIMM in slot X has failed.
Red
•
DIMM in slot X is an unsupported type, and no valid memory
exists in another bank.
Status
•
Green = Auxiliary power is applied.
•
Off = Auxiliary power is not applied.
•
Amber = One fan in this module has failed.
•
Red = Multiple fans in this module have
failed.
•
Off = All fans in this module are operating
normally.

Amber = Failover has occurred. Online spare
memory is in use.
•
Green = Online spare memory is enabled,
but not in use.
•
Off = Online spare memory is disabled.
•
Amber = PCI riser assembly is not seated.
•
Off = PCI riser assembly is seated.
