The IP menu page contains links to web pages that configure and display IP routing data. To display this
page, click Routing → IP in the tree view. Following are the web pages accessible from this menu page:

IP Configuration
Use the IP Configuration page to configure routing parameters for the switch as opposed to an interface.
The IP configuration settings allow you to enable or disable the generation of various types of ICMP
messages.
To display the page, click Routing → IP → Configuration in the tree view.

The IP Configuration page contains the following fields:
Default Time to Live — The default value inserted into the Time-To-Live field of the IP header of
datagrams originated by the switch, if a TTL value is not supplied by the transport layer protocol.
Routing Mode — Select Enable or Disable from the drop-down menu. You must enable routing for
the switch before you can route through any of the interfaces. Routing is also enabled or disabled per
VLAN interface. The default value is Disable.
ICMP Echo Replies —Select Enable to allow the switch to generate ECHO reply messages. Select
Disable to prevent the switch from generating ICMP echo replies.
