Bridge Multicast Forward

Use the Bridge Multicast Forward page to enable attaching ports or LAGs to a switch that is attached to
a neighboring Multicast switch. Once IGMP Snooping is enabled, multicast packets are forwarded to the
appropriate port or VLAN.
To display the Bridge Multicast Forward page, click Switching → Multicast Support → Bridge Multicast
Forward in the tree view.

The Bridge Multicast Forward page contains the following field and two editable tables:
VLAN ID — Selects the VLAN to be affected.
Forwarding Mode — Specifies the multicast forwarding mode for the selected VLAN. Possible values
are:
Forward Unregistered — Permits the forwarding of IPv4 multicast packets with a destination
address that does not match any of the groups announced in earlier IGMP Membership Reports.
Forward All — Permits registered and unregistered multicast packets to forward.
Filter Unregistered — Prohibits the forwarding of IPv4 multicast packets with a destination
address that does not match any of the groups announced in earlier IGMP Membership Reports.

Configuring Switching Information
Description
Register MAClayer Multicast addresses to the bridge table and adds
ports to the group statically.
Forbids adding a specific Multicast address to specific ports.
Displays Multicast MAC address table information.
