TACACS+ — Authentication occurs at the TACACS+ server.
Local, None — Authentication first occurs locally.
RADIUS, None — Authentication first occurs at the RADIUS server. If authentication cannot be
verified, no authentication method is used. Authentication cannot be verified if the remote server
cannot be contacted to verify the user. If the remote server can be contacted, then the response
from the remote server is always honored.
TACACS+, None — Authentication first occurs at the TACACS+ server. If authentication
cannot be verified, no authentication method is used. Authentication cannot be verified if the
remote server cannot be contacted to verify the user. If the remote server can be contacted, then
the response from the remote server is always honored.

If you use a RADIUS server to authenticate users, you must configure user attributes in the user database
on the RADIUS server. The user attributes include the user name, password, and privilege level.
NOTE: To set the privilege level, use the Service-Type attribute. Do not us any vendor-specific attribute value pairs.
