Web Interface: Creating a Protocol-based VLAN
To use the Web interface to configure the managed switch, proceed as follows:
1.
Create protocol based VLAN group vlan_ipx.
a.
From the main menu, select Switching > VLAN >Advanced > Protocol Based VLAN Group
Configuration. A screen similar to the following displays.

Enter the following information in the Protocol Based VLAN Group Configuration.
•
In the Group Name field, enter vlan_ipx.
•
Select IPX from the Protcol pull-down menu.
•
In the VLAN (1 to 4093) field, enter 4.
b. Click Add
