Web Interface: Configuring VRRP on a Backup Router
To use the Web interface to configure VRRP on a backup router on the switch, proceed as follows:
1.
Enable IP routing on the switch.
a.
From the main menu, select Routing > IP > IP Configuration. A screen similar to the following
displays.

b. Next to the Routing Mode, select the Enable radio button.
c.
Click Apply to save the settings.
2.
Assign IP address 192.150.4.1 to the port 1/0/4.
a.
From the main menu, select Routing > IP > Advanced> IP Interface Configuration. A screen
similar to the following displays.

b. Under IP Interface Configuration, scroll down to interface 1/0/4 and select the checkbox for that
interface. 1/0/4 now appears in the Interface field at the top.
c.
Enter the following information in the IP Interface Configuration:

In the IP Address field, enter 192.150.4.1.
