Procedure Procedure
1. Back up all server data.
2. Power down the server.
3. Remove all power:
a. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
b. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
4. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
5. Do one of the following:
Extend the server from the rack .
Remove the server from the rack .
6. Remove the access panel .
7. Remove the middle cover .
8. Remove the air baffle .
9. Remove the fan cage.
10. Do the following:
Disconnect all GPU cables from the system board.
Disconnect all front GPU riser cables from the system board.
11. Remove the front GPU cage .
12. Open the GPU cage cover.
Retain the cover for future use.
13. Disconnect all GPU AXU power cables from the GPU.
14. Remove the GPU from the cage:
a. Remove the front and rear GPU support bracket screws (callout 1).
