E.OH3
Motor overheating
Note: This function needs to be implemented with an IO expansion card. This fault is reported when the motor temperature exceeds F10.27 [Motor
overheat warning detection level].
Select which temperature sensor (PT1000/KTY84) to use by F10.26 [Motor overheat protection selection], and F10.26 [Motor overheat protection
selection] ten setting to detect the motor action when this fault is detected.
Code
Name
E.EF
External fault
Note: This external fault detection can be realized by configuring any X terminal with F05.00~F05.09.
Code
Name
Modbus
E.CE
communication failure
Note: If the communication data is incorrect and exceeds the time set by F12.06 [Modbus Communication Timeout], the fault is reported.
The motor action can be detected when this fault is detected by F12.07 [Communication Disconnection Processing].
Code
Name
E.HAL1
U phase zero drift

E.HAL
detection fault
Code
Name
E.SG
Output short to ground
Note: This fault shows E.SGxx. When xx is less than 32, U is short-circuited relative to ground. When it is greater than 32, V is short-circuited relative to
ground.

AC10 Series Frequency Inverter Technical Manual
Motor power is too small
Reason
Ambient temperature is too high
Excessive load
Fan failure
Reason
Ambient temperature is too high
Excessive load
Fan failure
Reason
Motor heat transfer is abnormal
Excessive load
Reason
Multi-function input terminal inputs external fault
signal
Reason
Communication cable failure, such as short circuit,
disconnection, etc.
Communication data is abnormal due to
interference
Reason
Interference causes U phase current detection
signal to be abnormal
Drive hardware is abnormal
Reason
Interference causes the V phase current detection
signal to be abnormal
Drive hardware is abnormal
Reason
Interference causes W phase current detection
signal to be abnormal
Drive hardware is abnormal
Reason
Interference causes a phase current detection
signal to be abnormal
Short circuit between motors
Drive output terminal screw loose
Drive hardware is abnormal
Reason
Motor burned or insulation aging
The distributed capacitance between the output
cable and the ground terminal is large, and the
leakage current becomes large.
Drive hardware failure
Reason
Drive cooling fan is damaged
Reason
PID disconnection detection related parameters are
set incorrectly
Improper wiring of PID feedback
Sensor for PID feedback fails
The PID feedback loop of the drive control board is
immediately if it is turned on.
Reset the drive or motor power
Countermeasures
Reduce the ambient temperature of the drive
Reduce the load
Check whether the fan is running normally. If the fan is abnormal, you
need to replace the fan and then power on.
Countermeasures
Reduce the ambient temperature of the drive
Reduce the load
Lower F01.40 [carrier set value]
Check whether the fan is running normally. If the fan is abnormal, you
need to replace the fan and then power on.
Countermeasures
Improve motor cooling
Reduce the load
Countermeasures
Troubleshoot external faults
External fault function that cancels the function of the multi-
function input terminal
Countermeasures
Check if the communication connection is normal
Check whether the grounding wire of the whole machine is
normal.
Change the communication cable with shield
Countermeasures
Check the grounding of the whole machine to eliminate the
U-phase Hall interference source
Seek technical support from manufacturers
Countermeasures
Check the grounding of the whole machine to eliminate the
V-phase Hall interference source
Seek technical support from manufacturers
Countermeasures
Check the grounding of the whole machine to eliminate the
W-phase Hall interference source
Seek technical support from manufacturers
Countermeasures
Check the grounding of the whole machine to eliminate the
interference source
Check motor wiring and power cycle
Re-power on after tightening the screws
Seek technical support from manufacturers
Countermeasures
Measure the line resistance of the motor and replace the
motor if it is conductive or the insulation is degraded.
Reduce the carrier frequency when the cable length
exceeds 100 m.
Seek technical support from manufacturers
Countermeasures
If the fault is not eliminated after the power is turned off,
seek technical support from the manufacturer.
Countermeasures
Adjust F13.27 [Wire break detection upper limit], F13.28
[Wire break detection lower limit], and F13.26 [Wire break
detection time]
Confirm that the PID feedback wiring is normal.
Check if the sensor is abnormal
Seek technical support from manufacturers
