2. Pull out the battery drawer.
3. Undo the snap lock on the safety strap for the
battery drawer (see fig. 22) and remove the cover.
Once the cover has been removed, you have free
access to the batteries (see fig. 23).

4. Unscrew the caps (see fig. 23) of the individual
chambers by using a large screwdriver.
You will be able to see the battery's liquid level on
the acid level markings.
5. If the liquid is below this marking, top up with
distilled water.
6. Close the battery case.
7. Close the battery drawer.

ATTEnTIOn!
When closing the battery drawer, make sure
that the release bolt correctly engages in the
recess in the drive unit sustainer provided for
this purpose. If correctly locked, the bolt is
easy to see and touch on the underside of the
drive unit sustainer (see fig. 24).
