2.4 Safety requirements for Transport,
Storage and Assembly
Hoisting devices used for transportation must have
a sufficient capacity.
The power wheelchair must be secured in accord-
ance with the requirements for the transport aid.
The tensioning straps must only be attached to the
corresponding fixing eyelets.
During transport on lifting platforms or in lifts, the
wheelchair controls must be switched off. The brake
must be locked and the power wheelchair must
stand in the middle of the lifting platform. None of
the power wheelchair's components, such as its
anti-tippers or other components, may be in the
danger area.
When the power wheelchair is not being used for an
extended period of time or during shipping, remove
the fuse.
After the power wheelchair has been set and
adjusted, the attachment screws and/or nuts must
be firmly retightened.
Whenever possible, passengers should use the
seats and vehicle restraint systems already installed
in the motor vehicle. This is the only way to ensure
optimum protection of passengers in the event of an
accident. The C1000 power wheelchair is permis-

components and when using appropriate restraint

When mounting a Recaro
seat adapter is securely attached to the retainer
bushings and that the anterior locking bolts have
snapped into place up to the key ring!
When mounting a special control, the user is
obliged to have a specialist dealer give him or her
detailed instructions on how to use it.
The mounting position of the lift seat mechanism
and/ or the seat must not be changed. Otherwise
there is the risk of tipping.

Safety requirements for Operation
The user is obliged to make sure that the power
wheelchair and its safety functions are in safe and
proper condition every time before using it. The
power wheelchair may only be used if all safety
functions, such as the automatic brakes, are
