Product Description
The C1000 power wheelchair is suitable for outdoor use
and – if used with Servotronic – also for indoor use. It is
compactly designed and easy to manoeuvre for use
indoors and can overcome outdoor obstacles (cate-
gory C of the EN 12184 standard).
The Modular Control System (MCS) is used to control
the power wheelchair.
The Modular Control System comprises a control panel
for entering the driving commands and for displaying the
current state of the functions as well as a controller that
uses the input data to control the drive motors and other
electric functions. Data transmission is realised via a bus
system.
Since the MCS can be programmed, it is possible to
adapt the control unit to the personal requirements of the
user; e. g. the speed, acceleration and deceleration
values can all be adapted.
The special features of the C1000 include:
Easy servicing due to good and clear accessibility
of all component groups
Customisation through options and special fabrica-
tion with modular components (chassis, seating
system, control unit, accessories)
Page 92
The modular design of the C1000 makes it possible to
add other modules and devices in addition to the main
components (see fig. 3), e. g. electric seat adjustment,
special controls, tray, etc. These options are described
in section 8.
The versatility of this power wheelchair and its modular
design make it suitable for patients who have walking
impediments or walking inabilities due to:
Paralyses
Loss of limbs (lower limb amputation)
Defective or deformed limbs
Joint contractures or defects
Other diseases
The power wheelchair was specially designed for users
who are able to move independently in such a power
wheelchair.
