The ip igmp snooping mrouter-time-out Interface Configuration (VLAN) mode
command configures the mrouter-time-out. The ip igmp snooping mrouter-time-
out Interface Configuration (VLAN) mode command is used for setting the aging-
out time after Multicast device ports are automatically learned. Use the no form of
this command to restore the default configuration.
Syntax
ip igmp snooping mrouter-time-out
no ip igmp snooping mrouter-time-out
Parameters
time-out
— Specifies the host timeout in seconds. (Range: 60 -
2147483647)
Default Configuration
The default host-time-out is 300 seconds.
Command Mode
Interface Configuration (VLAN) mode
User Guidelines
Mrouter port is aged out between time-out to time-out*2 seconds after the last
Multicast router traffic on the port.
Example
The following example configures the Multicast device timeout to 200 seconds.
Console(config)# interface vlan 2
Console(config-if)# ip igmp snooping mrouter-time-out 200
