It is not recommended to delete authenticated MAC addresses. Reauthentication
must be enabled when working in this mode.
When the device sends a MAC address as the 802. 1 x user name or password to a
RADIUS server, the characters ":" and "-" are not forwarded to the Radius server.
Avoid defining the corresponding MAC address with ":" and "-" in the RADIUS
server.
Example
The following example enable authentication based on the station's MAC address.
Use the no form of this command to disable MAC authentication.
Console# configure
Console(config)# interface ethernet e1
Console(config-if)# dot1x mac-authentication
The show dot1x advanced Privileged EXEC mode command displays 802. 1 x
advanced features for the device or specified interface.
Syntax
show dot1x advanced [ethernet
Parameters

Valid Ethernet port.
