In the following example, the counters for interface 1 are cleared.
Console# clear counters ethernet e1
The set interface active Privileged EXEC mode command reactivates a shutdown
interface.

This command has no default configuration.

User Guidelines
This command is used to activate interfaces that were configured to be active, but
were shutdown by the system for some reason (e.g., port security).
