User Guidelines
The system internally keeps time in UTC, so this command is used only for display
purposes and when the time is manually set.
Example
The following example sets the time zone to 6 hours difference from UTC.
Console(config)# clock timezone -6 zone CST
The clock summer-time Global Configuration mode command configures the
system to automatically switch to summer time (daylight saving time). Use the no
form of this command to configure the software not to automatically switch to
summer time.

Parameters
•
recurring — Indicates that summer time should start and end on the
corresponding specified days every year.
•
date — Indicates that summer time should start on the first specific date
listed in the command and end on the second specific date in the
command.
•
usa — The summer time rules are the United States rules.
