User Guidelines
Auto: All possibilities to connect a PC with cross or normal cables are supported
and are automatically detected.
On: It is possible to connect to a PC only with a normal cable and to connect to
another device only with a cross cable.
No: It is possible to connect to a PC only with a cross cable and to connect to
another device only with a normal cable.
Example
In the following example, automatic crossover is enabled on port 1.
Console(config)# interface ethernet 1
Console(config-if)# mdix auto
The back-pressure Interface Configuration (Ethernet, port-channel) mode
command enables back pressure on a given interface. Use the no form of this
command to disable back pressure.
(SPS224G4 combo ports) This command applies when the copper port is used.
The configuration does not apply when an SFP is plugged to the port.
Syntax
back-pressure
no back-pressure
Default Configuration
Back pressure is disabled.
