The sntp client enable Global Configuration mode command enables the Simple
Network Time Protocol (SNTP) Broadcast and Anycast client on an interface. Use
the no form of this command to disable the SNTP client.
Syntax
sntp client enable { vlan
number]
no sntp client enable {vlan
number]
Parameters
vlan-id —
VLAN number
interface
— Valid Ethernet port
port-channel-number
Default Configuration
The SNTP Anycast client is disabled.
Command Mode
Global Configuration mode
User Guidelines
Use the sntp broadcast client enable Global Configuration mode command to
enable Broadcast clients globally.
Use the sntp anycast client enable Global Configuration mode command to enable
Anycast clients globally.
