Indication
The following text under the PM header at the MTC level of the MAP
display indicates an alarm that involves an outside plant module (OPM):
Meaning
Both of the ringing generator units are in the in-service trouble (ISTb) state.
Result
If both ringing generator units fail, the system does not automatically switch
to an active ringing generator (SwRG). If SwRG does not occur, the system
cannot generate ringing. This alarm affects subscriber service.
