Before draining the oil from axle housing, use the oil
breather (2) to release possible internal pressure.

WARNING
Risk of violent oil ejection.
To drain the oil remove the level plug (1) and the
drain plug (4).

Drain all oil.
Clean the drain plug (4) and tighten to the requested
torque.
Always use the oil breather (2) to release possible
internal pressure.
Unscrew the level plug (1) and fill to the bottom of
the level plug hole with the specified oil.
Wait to allow the oil to flow through the axle. Check
oil level and fill to the specified level if necessary.
Screw the plug (1) to the prescribed torque.
Before draining the oil from the reduction gear, ro-
tate it so that the oil plug (3) is in the highest position
[position A] and partially unscrew the plug to release
any possible internal pressure.
Rotate the wheel end so that the plug (3) is toward
the ground [position B].
Remove the plug and drain the oil.
