INTRODUCTION, SAFETY, PLATES AND DECALS BEFORE USING THE MACHINE Read and familiarize yourself with the instructions and warnings shown in this manual before operating the machine. The presence of grease, oil, mud or (in winter) ice on the steps and access handles can cause acci- dents.

INTRODUCTION, SAFETY, PLATES AND DECALS ROAD OPERATION (4WS) before undertaking any road travel, select the 2 wheel steer mode and lift the cover to lock the switch in this position. Before undertaking any road travel, make sure that the 4WD is disengaged, make sure that the brake pedals are locked together and that both cab doors are correctly closed.
SECTION 1 OPERATING THE MACHINE ON ROAD AND JOB SITE Do not allow anyone to climb onto the machine. A passenger can fall or cause an accident. Never operate any of the machine controls unless you are seated correctly in the operator’s seat. Adapt your driving style to suit the conditions of work (sloping ground or rough ground), the state of the road and weather conditions.

The use of the knob/ lever for any other operation can cause accidents. In case of any operational problem or damage, lower the loader attachment and the backhoe attachment to the ground, stop the engine, remove the starter switch key and raise the parking brake lever.

SECTION 1 CAB (OR PROTECTIVE STRUCTURE) Do not try to weld or straighten the ROPS/FOPS cab (or protective structure). Do not modify the ROPS/FOPS cab (or protective structure) in any manner. Unauthorized modifica- tion, such as welding, drilling, cutting and adding attachments, as well as any damage resulting from collisions or the machine rolling over, could weaken the structure and reduce your protection.
INTRODUCTION, SAFETY, PLATES AND DECALS PARKING THE MACHINE When parking the machine, some precautions are necessary. Move the machine to a level and firm ground, away from any soft ground, excavations or poorly shored cavity. Lower the loader attachment to the ground. Place the backhoe attachment in the road travel position.
SECTION 1 MAINTENANCE AND ADJUSTMENTS Do not carry out any service operation until you have read and understood the instructions and warnings given in this manual. Observe the adjusting, maintenance and inspection activities and intervals set out in the operating instructions, including information on the replace- ment of parts and equipment as this service con- cerns exclusively the qualified personnel.

SECTION 1 PREVENTION OF FIRE OR EXPLOSIONS Engine fuel can cause an explosion or a fire. Never refuel when the engine is running. Do not smoke during refuelling. Take all the necessary safety measures when weld- ing, grinding or when working near a naked flame. Use a non-inflammable product for cleaning parts.

Antidote: - EXTERNAL: rinse well with water, removing any soiled clothing. - INTERNAL: avoid vomiting. Drink water to rinse your mouth.
