3. Remove the Developing Unit [1] while lifting it up.

Installing the Developing Unit

1. Unpack the new Developing Unit.
* Do not yet remove the seal from the supply mouth.
2. Before installing the Developing Unit, orient the Front Cover [1] upwards, and shake the unit strongly up and down
approx. 10 times with its angle unchanged [2].

CAUTION:
If the Developing Unit is installed with toner uneven in the container, the screw may be broken and E020/E021 may occur.
